2009 A - Z

A is for Andrew Shum. Andrew and I have been friends for the last 10 years, and in these 10 years he has always been there for me when I needed a friend the most. Thank you Andrew for being you and being there.

B is for Babies. Two of my bestest friends gave birth to two beautiful girls. Ah, a beautiful thing to see my girlfriends so happy to be mommies.

C is for Cars. I told all my friends that I’ll be driving by the end of 2009. well, 2009 ends tomorrow and I still haven’t bought a car.

D is for David Truong. there’s much to say about him, but there’s nothing more that i can say about him. he was my best friend, i love him, and i hope for the best for him.

E is for Eggs. I have never, in my life, eaten so many eggs. I’ve become a total breakfast/brunch person thanks to Michael.

F is for Flowers. Every year i request flowers and wine for my birthday, but besides the expected birthday flowers, i have luckily received flowers throughout the year as a, “thank you” or “thinking of you” gesture.

G is for Gardening. There’s something said about being able to pick out fresh mint out of your garden to use in your mint tea.

H is for Hitachino Nest. My favorite beer, or biru as Keiko likes to put it. So damn tasty.

I is for Ice Cream. My absolute, hands down, favorite thing to eat ever. I make a killer brown sugar ice cream too!

J is for Jack’s. All of them. the jokes i got from jerk jack, the fun food outings with jack tung … all good times with friends!

K is for Karaoke! Karaoke is forever on my list. Forever. Karaoke FOREVER!

L is for Love.

M is for Michael. My moments with Michael are so vivid and still so real. Our relationship was surreal. We were both living out an unrealistic, perfect, always on holiday relationship and that’s why it ended.

N is for New York. What a great place to be when you’re young and looking for energy. this is the city to be in.

O is for

P is for PB’s. i have several groups of friends, but none i hold as close to my middle/high school crowd.

Y is for Yannis. A real sweetheart of a friend, her advice was priceless.
